Dublin, Ireland
This is easily one of my favorite pictures from Dublin. Nice sunny day, great company, wonderful old bridges.
Ireland as a whole was great. Amazingly green and beautiful. I enjoyed being there so much I could see myself living there. Well… maybe part time anyway. Or a few visits a year. On the level, I loved it. I was so happy every day I was there and enjoyed the company of great people and scenery.
My First Guiness
Visted Ireland, UK, and Spain for a few days. By a few days, I mean more than a week. A crazy week, actually. Got picked up around 7ish a.m. from the airport and we made it into Dublin around 9a.m. I was then taken for my first true Irish bar and my first true Guinness. Breakfast and beer… yum : )
A Day at SSC
Visited SSC for a day with a good buddy. Gotta love classic cars
Baltimore
Spent some time in snow covered Baltimore. Met some great people who showed me around Fells Point, found Edgar Allan Poe’s grave, got some killer blueberry pancakes, and had a pretty rad time.
Falcons/Packers
Made it out to the Falcons/Packers playoffs. Since I repped my hometown Falcons last time, it was agreed for this particular playoff game I would wear Packers. I’m on the ClayMatthews52 band wagon anyway. He-Man! Still gotta cheer for ATL though. One thing I have to say about an ATL crowd – the crowd started off great (even if I was in a Packers T), but when the Falcons were behind in the third quarter the stadium was already clearing out! C’mon, really?! Seeing that fans can’t support their team through the last half kinda sucks. Looking forward to next season, Falcons!
Tootoo Compilation
Over my holiday breaks, I have had the chance to indulge my hocky love either by going to games or on tv (Go Thrashers!). While traveling I was shown this compilation of Jordin Tootoo, who I would easily consider one of the toughest hockey players around. Kinda funny someone made an almost five minute video of his hits/fights. Had to share. So… when can Atl get him??
